    None of us know when our time will come. The Art of Pre-planning - intended for those who are non-imminent or advanced in age - will help you get a head start on your end-of-life plans. From a comprehensive list of items to gather and legal arrangements to consider to more customized details, you will leave this session with a basic overview of what to take action on now, and what you’d like to keep in mind for later. We will also send a follow up email to answer any questions that may come up after our session and further review of your binder.

  • The AoPP Party

    Preemptively discussing end-of-life plans can be intimidating to do on your own. Why not gather some of your people and do it together? The Art of Pre-planning Party is intended for a group that would like to cover the basics on how to best prepare themselves for the end-of-life. We’ll provide everyone with a customizable AoD binder and your group can take it from there. You choose where we meet and incorporate anything that might make the session more enjoyable such as beverages and snacks.

    3 - 6 people / 1.5 hrs / $120 per person
    7 - 10 people / 2 hrs / $110 per person

  • The Grand Plan

    The death and dying process can be transformed simply by having your affairs in order and your wishes known. The Grand Plan - intended for those with a terminal diagnosis - is our in-depth planning session. We ensure your legal paperwork is up-to-date, logistical items are reviewed and documented, conversations regarding any celebrations and/or pre-death commemorations you are interested in are started, and details on what comfort and care you would like to receive are discussed.

  • Support Sessions

    Support Sessions help guide and educate those with a terminal diagnosis and/or advanced age, and their loved ones, in shaping the end-of-life experience. These sessions are generally between one to three hours and can be booked individually or on a routine schedule. Sessions may include:

    • Checking in on legal / logistical to-dos

    • Planning and organizing care

    • Creating cohesion between family members, partners, friends, and care teams, including home health, palliative and/or hospice care

    • Holistic services, such as mindful movement, meditation, and reiki

    • Helping people process their life and death utilizing dialogue, life review, and other methods in a non-judgmental space

    • Being a sounding board for caretakers

    • Sharing information on pre-death celebration and ceremonial options

    • Empowering those involved in creating a comforting atmosphere for their loved one, including honoring their preferences prior to, and during, the active dying process

    • Finding creative ways to honor the life of a person after they’ve died, including rituals, legacy projects etc.

    • Providing a compassionate, calm presence

  • Sitting Vigil

    We provide additional support during the active dying process by sitting vigil. While maintaining a safe, comforting environment that is aligned with the dying person’s expressed needs and wants, we also empower the loved ones to participate in these sacred moments or simply give them a reprieve. We serve as a complement to the hospice team and will be additional bedside support in the home, hospital, or facility.

  • The Rainbow Connection

    Supporting a loved one at the end of life, and honoring them after death, isn’t exclusive to humans.

    The Rainbow Connection is essentially an Art of Pre-planning for your pet. During this session, we will explore and discuss your options to comfort, assist, and celebrate your animal companion through death and beyond. This includes information on euthanasia and disposition of remains.
